Jay-Z Addresses “AI” Narratives That His SoFi Stadium Shows Were Empty

Jay-Z took to the stage at SoFi Stadium on Saturday night and spoke about the frustrating narratives that his shows weren’t full.

Jay-Z has been the target of various online narratives over the past few years. Overall, there has been this divide between people who like Drake and people who don’t. Those who don’t have been sectioned off into the “Roc Nation” camp, even if that designation is not accurate. It’s an unfortunate situation, and it has led to all sorts of false narratives about Hov’s popularity.

For instance, going into this weekend’s slate of shows at SoFi Stadium, there have been some strong opinions about Jay potentially performing at the Super Bowl. The Roc Nation haters were eager to find a reason to hate on his Los Angeles adventure, and that is exactly what they did.

With ticket prices reaching low prices, some took to the internet to claim that SoFi Stadium was empty and that the artist’s show was a flop. Of course, if you actually watched the videos, you would notice that there were plenty of fans in attendance.

On Saturday night, Jay-Z sought to dispel the narratives. In fact, he accused it all of being some sort of AI-driven phenomenon.

“Y’all gotta be very aware what’s going on in the world, right? People will tell you that nobody was in here tonight, but you got eyes, you can see,” Hov said. “People will tell you that the music wasn’t great, but you got ears. […] Question everything in this world of AI.”

While it may not be AI, there is no doubt that Jay-Z is paying attention to what is happening out there, and he is not too pleased with what he has been seeing.
